1.at表示“黎明、午、夜、點(diǎn)與分”。

（1）表示“一天的上午、下午、晚上”。

4.in，for

（1）“in+時(shí)間名詞”意為“在……時(shí)候”；“in+段時(shí)間”意為“……時(shí)間之后”。

They worked there in winter.他們冬季在那里工作。

We will work there in a winter.一個(gè)冬季之后我們要在那里工作。

（2）“for+段時(shí)間”意為“有多久”。

We worked there for the winter.我們在那里工作了一個(gè)冬季。

I walked up and down my bedroom for a long time.

我在自己的臥室來回踱步了很長時(shí)間。

5.since，after

（1）since表示的時(shí)間一直延續(xù)到說話時(shí)為止，要與現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)連用。

He has been there twice since 1982.自1982年以來我去過那里兩次。

I have done nothing since six o’clock.六點(diǎn)鐘之后，我什么也沒做。

（2）after表示的時(shí)間是過去，常和一般過去時(shí)連用。

He went home after school.放學(xué)后，他回了家。

6.till/until，to

（1）till/until 常用于“from ...till/until”中，表示“一個(gè)動(dòng)作的終結(jié)”；to 常用于“from ...to”中，表示“一個(gè)階段的終結(jié)”。

He studies from morning till/until night every day.他每天從早到晚地學(xué)習(xí)。

They stayed here from June to September.他們在這里從六月待到九月。

（2）延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞用于till/until的肯定句中，短暫性動(dòng)詞用于“not ...until”中。

I slept till/until ten o’clock.我睡到十點(diǎn)。

I didn’t go to bed till/until ten o’clock.直到十點(diǎn)我才睡覺。

7.by，before

（1）by意為“到……以前”、“不遲于”、“到……時(shí)（為止）”。

I will finish my task by nine.我將在九點(diǎn)鐘前完成任務(wù)。

The plane takes off at 10：00，so you must try to be at the airport by 9：30.

飛機(jī)在十點(diǎn)鐘起飛，所以你必須在九點(diǎn)半趕到機(jī)場。

（2）before意為“在……以前”。

The students won’t go home before they finish their homework.

學(xué)生們要先完成作業(yè)才能回家。

The woman worked in the factory before 1990.
